Warranty and Returns
The warranty applies to all items on the itead.cc
1. 7-Day Dead on Arrival (DOA) Guarantee
Item exchange or refund is only available for the item you received in a non-human damaged or non-working condition or the item that is not what you ordered and was incorrectly shipped to you. You must provide a picture or video to prove the issue within 7 days of receiving the product. After we confirm it is DOA, we will resend a new one for free (we will cover the shipping cost) within 7 working days or refund you.
If it is necessary to return the products for exchange or refund, our support center will provide RMA authorization for you to send the product back, we will resend a new one for free (we will cover the shipping cost) or issue a full refund within 2-3 working days after receiving the returned item, please provide us the freight receipt of shipping when you return the item. We recommend that you choose the airmail method to ship the product, the return shipping cost is at the customer’s expense for DHL, UPS, TNT, or FedEx.
2. 30-Day Money Back Guarantee
To improve your shopping experience in ITEAD, we have a 30-day hassle-free return and exchange service. Undamaged products(giveaways and gifts are not included) may be returned or exchanged for any reason within 30 days of receipt. In this case, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping fees and any customs fees or duties incurred during the return process.
Please submit a return/exchange request on the online support center(complete the relevant information according to the instructions), if your request is approved, we will provide you the RMA number and the return address.
Once the returned item arrives back for inspection, we will reship the product or issue a refund to the original payment method within 2-3 working days, there are two cases for a refund:
1) A full refund will be issued for the returned product if the return request is initiated within 14 days of receipt of the product.
2) We refund the cost of the returned product itself, excluding the shipping charge and tax if the return request is initiated within 14 days to 30 days from the receipt of the goods.
Details and Conditions:
1) You must provide valid proof of purchase (invoice, order information, etc.) to initiate a return or exchange.
2) You need to obtain the RMA number provided by ITEAD support team before returning the products, if you return the products by yourself without contacting us in advance, the returns may be rejected.
3) The returned product must include original packaging, which is not used and damaged, and doesn’t affect the second sale.
4) Returns must include all accessories.
5) If you don’t want to pay high import duties on the return package, please avoid selecting an express mail service like DHL, UPS, TNT, FedEx, and similar ones.
6) For quality-related warranty claims, we will cover the return shipping costs, otherwise you are responsible for the shipping costs.
7) You need to return the product and provide a return tracking number within 2 weeks of authorization. Otherwise, you may not be able to obtain warranty service.
8) Not applicable for non-quality issues for items that have expired the 30-day window.
9) Returns may be rejected if the returned products do not meet the above requirements.
3. 2-Year Warranty
For products damaged by non-human factors, you can submit a replacement request at (https://itead.freshdesk.com/support/home) (complete the relevant information according to the instructions), we will send you the replacement within 7 working days after we confirm that it is a quality problem.In this case, we will cover the shipping cost for replacement. If it is not possible to confirm whether there is a product problem, you need to return the product for inspection for responsibility assessment.
The above terms only apply to all products purchased on ITEAD STUDIO’s official website (https://itead.cc, eu.itead.cc, us.itead.cc ), no compensation is available in the following cases:
1) Unable to provide relevant proof of purchase (invoice; order information).
2) Flash firmware, modify, remove, or customize items.
3) The product is repaired by a third party.
4) Provide subjective or unacceptable reasons to ask for a refund such as the product is lost or stolen.
5) Return and replacement requests without RMA authorization.
6) Product damage is caused by improper use or external factors(including but not limited to drop, extreme temperatures, water, improper operation of equipment, etc.)
7) Out of the 2-year warranty period.
4. How to return an item at itead. cc?
If you would like to apply for a return and a full refund, please submit a return request to the support center within 14 days starting from 00:00 on the day after receiving your product(s). Please have your valid proof of purchase like the order number, the email address used for the purchase, or the sales invoice ready.
5. How long does it take to get a refund?
If you need to refund, we will process the refund within 2-4 days of receiving the returned item. The refund time will depend on the payment method. Please see the details below:
PayPal refund will take up to 48 hours to process and appear in your account.
Credit card refund will take between 5-10 business days to appear in your account depending on your credit card company and intermediaries
.6. Warranty Service for SONOFF and Nextion products
All quality-related defects on SONOFF/Nextion items sold directly by ITEAD or authorized resellers are covered by a 2-year warranty, starting from the date of purchase, please note that for purchases not made directly through ITEAD Store/ITEAD US Store/ITEAD EU Store, we provide replacement(you is responsible for shipping costs) or repair service, but don’t provide refund service.
For products damaged by non-human factors, you can submit a replacement/paid repair request at (https://itead.freshdesk.com/support/home) (complete the relevant information according to the instructions). After we confirm it is a product quality problem, the corresponding service process will begin,you need to pay for the shipping cost for items, and we will process your application within 7 working days after you provide the screenshot of the bill, no compensation or warranty will be provided in the following cases:
