Awesome with HomeAssistant and external Temp Sensor

The product is quite simple and easy to install. It should fit almost every type of fixture, due to the included adaptors (so far it worked on an old building from the 60s, a newly renovated in 2020 and I only had an issue with one from 1978). The integration with HomeAssistant works flawlessly, though I would recommend Zigbee2MQTT to see some extra features like the window function. Temperature sensors are only used for the control of the gadget itself, but not for the room temperature. You should rely on an external sensor, located away from the heating element to obtain a good measurement. So far it´s the third time I've bought this for my smart home installations, and I´m happy with it. Would recommend it

Buon prodotto ma migliorabile

L'installazione non è molto pratica, il fatto che si calibri all'avvio, che gli adattatori siano poco pratici e una volta bloccato da remoto, se si elimina il dispositivo dall'app, resettarlo per riassociarlo ad un altro host è un'impresa non da poco, una volta installato e configurato tutto sommato lavora abbastanza bene ma si potrebbe migliorare tanto permettendo tutto im setup iniziale da app

Waste of time - Waste of money

1) On Home Assistant, with a Sonoff dongle and Zigbee2MQTT, it only worked for a few months, then I no longer have any remote control. I think the problems are due to the upgrade to firmware version 1.1.5, but I'm not sure because the upgrade took place during the summer and I wasn't paying much attention to the radiators and this valve. At present, only information from the valve reaches Home Assistant, but in the opposite direction, it no longer works. Impossible to set heating temperature, select mode, etc ... with HA.

2) And... it's impossible to pair it with Ewelink because the QR code and code numbers are not recognized by the Ewelink application ... !

With the door sensors and the temperature sensors that stop working because of false contacts, and the problems with this valve, it's far too many problems for so-called “intelligent devices” to deal with, it's taking up too much of my time and I'm now considering switching to another brand.

For the temperature problem, please try to delete the device from Z2M and pair it again, check if it would help or not. If you still have problems, please send us pictures or videos to check the problem.
When you pair to the eWeLink app, which Zigbee hub did you use? If possible, please kindly send us a video to check the problem.
