Not very usable in my situation

I purchased this because there is talk about monitoring the entire house's electricity consumption. This device is not usable in most American house electrical panels.

1 this is limited to 100amps, most houses have at least 100amps coming in, so this would be maxed out.
2 the clamps would not fit over the incoming wire, too small
3 most amarican panels have two 110v lines coming in, so a device with two clams would be required.

Now the POWCT can only support Max 100A current, you can check the details in the product details when you buy it, if you need more amps support, we will forward the request to our technical department to check if in the future will develop this kinds of device or not.
And may I know what kinds of wire you used? What's the size?

Disappointed.

Really bad, not valid for solar production purposes because don't read reverse power, very disappointed with the Customer service answers too.
ITEAD suggest that it is valid for photovoltaic control in their site, but it is not, you can't read reverse power to the grid and you can't make conditions for extra production.
I don't know if they will solve the problem via software but I'll take the chance for Shelly's ecosystem if they don't fix that issues soon.

For what your talks, it is a request, we already forwarded this request to our technical department, they will analyze and check if in the future can support this function or not. If any update, we will let you know.

As advertised. Would have given 5 stars if the meter can read reverse power.

Works well, but monitors less than half of the house loads.

The device is easy to connect and install and seems to be quite accurate. It would be much more useful if it had two CTs and two voltage inputs so it could monitor both legs a standard 240V house supply instead of just one leg. There is no way to monitor the haeavy loads which are 240V, and all the 120V loads on the second leg are also not monitored. I think for a modest price increase a second CT and voltage input could be provided.

Muy útil para ver el consumo

Instalación sencilla en el cuadro eléctrico, basta con ponerle fase y neutro desde otro diferencial y poner la pinza amperimétrica en la acometida.
Se conecta fácil con la App a la Wifi de casa y puedes usarlo en un panel de control de Home Assistant.
Muy útil para ver el consumo en tiempo real y aprender el consumo de los electrodomésticos.
