SONOFF Zigbee Smart Curtain Motor

A great addition making the lounge look smart:-.) Hiding the device behind the curtain makes it even more elegant. Considering this for all curtains.

They work great. I have them set up to operate 6 times throughout the day. I run them on the battery / solar panel and so far have had no issues with the battery going dead. I purchased them knowing that they weren't designed to work on my curtain rod (round). I made a wooden adapter to mount them. I won't hesitate to purchase again

Simply did not receive anything.

The assembly and mounting were very simple. I had a problem with the main control that was out of the tent pole, so it prevented the door of my closet from opening. So I had to reverse the direction of the mounting, and it was possible.
I encountered a small defect: the buttons on the remote control were inverted, so the button that should have closed the tent actually stopped the movement of the tent, but it's a minor issue.

Very good curtain motor. I bought 2. And I love it so far

Works very well indeed. But like Manuel Carranza, I wanted to hide the mechanism behind the curtain. After much fiddling I succeeded (see overview photo). I discovered that there are several key elements to success. The problem to solve is the cable catching under curtain hooks and then stopping full range of movement. The problem begins when curtain is reaching the end of its travel, the trailing cable sags and gets caught under the curtain hooks thereby impeding the next activity. First, I installed motor higher than the track. Better but not enough. I stabilised the motor (and return pulley) with a block of wood and two pins through drilled holes in bracket (see photo of motor). Cable is routed above and below track brackets as appropriate and tensioned with the original tensioning plastic clip. The other clip is not needed. (See the photo that exposes the curtain puller.) I attached the cable with cable ties to the curtain pullers because the supplied clips don't do that. Was better but still not reliable. I found it necessary to move the attachment point away from the rear of the puller. I used some scrap aluminium that is cut to be long enough to get close to but not foul the bottom of the hanging track brackets. It is bent slightly and attached with screws to the rear of the curtain pullers. The cable is attached close to the top of the aluminium. The photo shows how the two cable runs are close together but about 15-20 mm behind the track. I found all of this palaver was necessary to finally give reliable action every time for my hidden installation. It is now confidently automated with the scheduler. I have ordered two more for other curtains. Highly recommended.

That's what I need, no modifications need and easy fixii.

It is excellent device, but the curtain track must be new or oiled for smooth sliding. I use it for one side curtain.

I've been looking for a way to automate my curtains and this product provides a convenient and affordable solution to do it. It takes 30 minutes to setup and there is a helpful video on how to do it.

It uses ZigBee so it works with HomeAssistant if you have a ZigBee adapter. I was able to automate the opening and closing of my curtains.

I am a big fan of SONOFF's Zigbee as most of their products are high quality and this one is no different.
