How to add Zigbee devices to home assistant via SONOFF zigbee 3.0 USB dongle plus.

SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus is a universal Zigbee USB stick. It can be used as a universal Zigbee gateway in Home Assistant or other open-source platforms via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT to locally control all your Zigbee sub-devices, so you don't need to invest in the Zigbee hubs for different brands, all you need is a universal gateway - Dongle Plus!

The dongle plus has a wide range of supported devices, such as BASICZBR3, S31 Lite zb, SNZB01, SNZB02, SNZB03, SNZB04, ZBMINI, S26R2ZB , and various sub-devices from various brands or flash router firmware to extend the network range.

The limits of ZBDongle Plus are 21 direct children and up to 40 children (Default values from official firmware). Supported to connect more by configurating yourself.
*Updated version (in the near future) will be supported to work with maximum 200 children.

Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus

Bought this on all the recommendations. New to Home Assistant, bought the pre-made Odroid N2+ Home Assistant. All set up out of the box. Plugged this in and tried to connect to devices that were currently working with Smart Life from Tuya. Haven't been able to pair with a smart plug and a smart plug. No luck. Been all around the web searching for options. Heard about updating the firmware but couldn't find anything readily. My goal was to try to move most of my devices that are in Smart Life over to a non-cloud, internet independent platform. Hopefully I can get this to work. Thanks for reading this, I am sure this is a good device.

CC2652P instead of CC2531

I've got a problem with some ZB devices when I used NoName stick 2531. When I tried to connect some devices were assigned as unrecognised. So I decided to buy the new version ZB stick SonOff 3.0 from ITEAD company. This stick arrived with firmware. I changed in Home Assistant the USB port only and stick started work perfectly. All issues with unsupported devices were resolved automatically. Thank you very much.

What a great product

I am using one as a coordinator and two as routers. These devices created a solid mesh network for all my devices to run on. I will be buying a few more to extend my coverage. Were easy to flash and set up in HA and Zigbee2MQTT.

Nice zigbee dongle

Best value for the money... Plugged in a RP4 with HA and Zigbee2MQTT. Setup was relatively easy for a newbie like me.

Awesome price to performance ratio

The Stick was quite fast hear in Austria all the extra Cost and Taxes was payed and the package was in a good condition. Installed the Stick with HA and it works Perfekt!
