SONOFF SNZB-04 is a Zigbee two-in-one wireless door/window sensor that can be put on your door or window to tell you with an alert notification if your door or window is opened or closed, adding an extra layer of security to your home. The sensor provides you the possibility to create a scene linkage of Zigbee and Wi-Fi devices. Both the opening and closing status of the door/window are synced on your mobile phone, no longer to think back whether the door/down is off or not. It is really useful and can help you turn on or off the light in the action. Works with SONOFF Zigbee Bridge Pro in harmony, you can set a scene to get your hallway lighted immediately when the door is opened.

The camera function can be enabled on the sensor page in the eWeLink APP, which also allows you to view clearly who enters your home; even you can frighten the stranger and ask him to leave your home immediately with the two-way audio function. Its application can also extend to wide areas like drawers, garage doors, blinds, etc. Just stick it anywhere two things connect and it is always safe even if you don’t keep watch on it. Just what I wanted.

I'm using two temperature/humidity sensors to monitor temperature gradient in my split level house. They were easy to setup and have been working well for a month now. Data reported is consistent with my ecobee thermostat.

Works as expected

Easy to configure, tiny but could be smaller. The battery housing and reset button should be more robust
One of the sensors I installed had abnormal battery consumption which ran out in less than a month.

Nice sensor

Works as expected and easy to setup with Home Assistant ZigbeeMQTT and the Sonoff Zigbee Dongle P. I use this sensor in combination with the better thermostat plugin for the open window detection with my Sonoff trv‘s, which works just fine.

good door contact sensor

this door contact sensor is good overall, but would like its design can be much smaller, like some other brands. Which can be installed in any place of door, the product is only a tiny little chip board and button cell battery. and a small magnetic.

Reason: smaller, smart, discreet, can be installed hidden inside door edge for not obviously seen.

Also would like to Ewelink app can display both time and date of action, currently only showing time of action, such as

Opened 10:38:22 yesterday
Closed 21:35:02 today.
Opened 16:29:15 2023-11-17

use "today" for current day, "yesterday", or above for example

in this way, most app user don't have to check this door is open or close at which date.

Works good, hard to setup

It takes many tries to get it paired/connected to the system and battery holder is just bad. Range is also really small. But after proper setup, no problems encountered.

Could you please tell us the problem when you pair the device?
And what's the problem with the battery holder, please tell us more details, so we can improve our devices in the future. Thanks much for your advice.
