MINIR4 is a mini extreme WiFi smart switch equipped with ESP32 chip, that turns traditional switches into smart switches, automating lights and electronic devices, and tiny size fits in various mounting boxes, including the smallest EU-type/86 type/120 type mounting box. MINIR4 supports external switch control and easily connects to the momentary switch, door exit switch, SPDT switch, latching switch, and even dry contact sensors.
MINIR4 has "detach relay" mode, which means the states of external switches and relay are separated, so operating the external switch button won't affect the relay state. Such as, if you open detach relay" mode, when you turn off the light, your smart light won't be offline, and you still can use App to control smart lights.
MINIR4 is a smart switch with the gateway function of “eWeLink-Remote“.After pairing with MINIR4, MINIR4 can be controlled locally by S-MATE through "eWeLink-Remote" signal, and trigger other smart devices in the smart scene.

Muy contento

Me sorprendió su pequeño tamaño frente a otro modelos anteriores. Funciona perfectamente y sus bornas de conexión son muy cómodas pese a su pequeño tamaño.

Versatility in small form

I absolutely love this product! The small size means that it can fit in almost any space and the input contacts with its different trigger modes mean that it can be used to automate scenarios by "reading" many different input devices... Examples of Inputs include toggle switches to trigger lights, float switches to control water pumps, relays connected to grid power to manage load from solar or inverters, etc.

Almost there but missed the point....

Sonoff should really focus on a relay like mini r4 with 2 outs. Their dual mini r3 is unreasonably big and very hard to fit in the EU box. The mini r4 is perfect size but completely useless to my eyes and my clients' needs. I would soon like to see a zigbee version of a mini r4 dual relay.... This is what is needed. I hope sonoff will deliver at some point

Very Handy Smart Control

The MiniR4 is a great little device to add smarts to your existing light switches without changing the style of the switches in your house. Its various modes provide a lot of flexibility for smart control and how the "real" switch interacts with the MiniR4. I have used this in 2 3/4" boxes and 2" boxes; its small size works well in the tight space behind a traditional switch. Attached is a photo of a smart switch (a normal switch backed by a MiniR4 in "following mode" and using scenes on an iHost to simulate a 3-way switch with a NSPanel).

As a side benefit, the thoughtful connectors really help to clean up the connections in your electrical box!
