7.0” Nextion Intelligent Series HMI Touch Display with enclosure

On two occasions your company failed to deliver correct component we got stuck having to pay transport its been two months and yet to receive refund to CC payment Now I have to try again and ensure you send us the correct component

The carrier lost my purchased item. After that, I contacted customer service, who promptly resolved the problem. I am really satisfied.The new capacitive display is as good as it was expected.

This is perfect to interface with Arduino.
Easy to use IDE.
Fully recommended.

As I'm still getting to know the Intelligent 7" capacitive touch interface:
- Stability: Have been uploading with SD card without any problems. Smooth graphics, animation and transitions. Instant touch response.
- Speed: Powers up almost instantly, loads from SD fast, animated graphics are fast, have not tried videos.
- Graphics: Basic features and controls look OK but with a better graphic editor you can create beautiful smooth looking interfaces. Semi-transparent PNG alpha channel work nice for shading. You have to understand the RGB color space, deal with graphics to a pixel level.
- Programming: There's a lot of potential here. Lots of custom functions. The pseudo-code formatting is unforgiving but once you figure it out is OK. With code you can change any item's position on or off the screen, transparency, text label, background colors or graphics, etc.
- Application: The development app is fairly intuitive. There's enough help online to get going. As with any interface development tool, you have to be tidy with object naming, media organization, x-y coordinates and sizing, object layering, etc. The graphical emulator is perfect for testing things out before uploading.
- I/O: You can upload your application with a micro SD card (micro 32 GB SDHC works fine) or 2-wire serial (for which you need to get an extra USB-serial dongle). There are some extra pins for GPIO that could be used to create simple controls without any extra hardware. There's a small speaker to play media which I have not tried out yet. You can store media or data in the SD card. The SD card is hard to get to with the bezel installed.

WE have been using thèse screens in some difficult environnements and not a Hitch. A more intégrated connecter would be nice.

Unit works and looks good. The best part is the internal programing and interface are well thought out. My project consists of a main menu and a dozen child screens. Got the RTC running. Tested the GPIO. Only one negative, the unit generates enough interference it keeps my ESP32 from connecting to WIFI. Have to apply power to display after ESP32 connects to WIFI (about 3 seconds). My project has GPS, 9-axis IMU, dual I2S amps, SD card, RGB LED interface, WIFI and MQTT. All work with great feedback and control via Nexion 7" display.

I purchased this display to use with a MMDVM Pi-Star based Hotspot. I built my Hotspot into a C4LABS Plexiglas case with a 3.5" Nextion Enhanced display. It was a good size to take with me in the car. I had difficulty reading the small display when placed on a shelf behind and above my desk so I purchased the 7",display and connected it to the Hotspot secured with velcro so easily removable. What a difference! Beautiful display. Definitely worth it.
